Sherria was raised a city girl with a country heart. Her father was born and raised in the heart and soul of north Philadelphia, but her mother grew up in the small city of St. Augustine, FL. Her mother grew up eating directly from the land and sea, and everything was locally sourced mostly from their own land. She learned about farmers markets and orchards early, and that was one of her favorite parts of the weekend.
She’s always had a passion for cooking and food, but didn’t discover her gift for it until she was an adult. She was a sous chef before she knew what one was. Cooking with both of her grandmothers was exciting and she always found great pride and pleasure in seeing people find joy in her food. Sherria believes that families that eat together, stay together.
